The program focused on transforming three critical areas of health: sustenance (whole foods nutrition, anti-inflammatory diet, intermittent fasting), self (mind-body medicine, neuroscience, epigenetics, breath, movement, mindfulness), and surroundings (nontoxic home and personal care.) Dr. Villano now offers update classes for VHA graduates and the public.

Dr. Villano is actively involved in cultivating opportunities for access to integrative wellness education.

CBD & CBG

The CBD industry has exploded since the US Farm Bill of 2018, and most of the products that have come to market are of poor quality, if not outright toxic for consumers. Dr. Villano is a passionate advocate of US Hemp Authority certified, full-spectrum, water-soluble CBD and CBG. She is an ambassador for Zilis, the only cannabinoid product with a human trial verifying bioavailability.

Massage Education and Green Day Spa

Dr. Villano has over 20 years of experience and consulting in the green spa industry. She taught anatomy, physiology, and pathology at Wenatchee’s School of Therapeutic Touch for six years. YU TEA

The highest quality and purity, lead free, 100% Certified Organic green tea

Why Dr. Villano only recommends Yu Tea (formerly Sei Mee Tea):

  • Exclusively sourced from organic farms with well managed soil in Japan. A healthy leaf is dense with cells with strong immunity against pests & disease, more tolerant of weather/drought, and much more nutrient dense. (vs. a leaf grown in poor soil has insufficient cells, poor nutrition, disease & pest prone, leading to chemical use and lead contamination).

  • Significantly higher levels of polyphenols than from any bagged or loose-leaf green tea.

  • Meets and exceeds the most rigorous standards and tested by independent third parties.

  • Blending deep cultural knowledge with a modern holistic approach to physical and mental wellness.

  • Decaf versions are water extraction (vs. toxic solvents).

Organic Sencha (less caffeine, 10 mg/cup) & Sencha Decaf (all the benefits without the caffeine): grown in full sun, steamed & dried; light, sweet, grassy tones, with more catechins. Packed with polyphenols, catechins; less L-theanine/caffeine; rich in antioxidants: fights free radicals; high EGCG content: anti-inflammatory, antiaging benefits; boosts metabolism: aids weight management & energy; promotes longevity: supports long-term vitality and health. Enjoy hot or cold. Ideal water temperature for Sencha is 165°F and for Sencha Decaf is 175°F.

(ISO 22000 verified) Organic Matcha (35-70 mg/cup) & Matcha Decaf (all the benefits of Matcha without caffeine): shade grown, first harvest, tender leaves, Ceremonial A grade, silky texture, more caffeine and chlorophyll; vivid green color, no bitterness. Clean energy boost: balanced caffeine & more L-theanine; cell protection: rich in catechins & EGCG; boost immunity: powerful antioxidants fight infection. Enjoy hot or cold. Ideal water temperature for Matcha is 145°F and for Matcha Decaf is 165°F.

Why Green Tea?

Scientifically proven benefits include: weight control, cancer prevention/tumor reduction, heart health & healthy cholesterol, oral health, immune system support, Type 2 Diabetes prevention, brain health, hair & skin health, anti-inflammatory, boosts mood, bone health, hormone balance, sustainable energy, relaxation without drowsiness, and slows aging.

Catechins (a type of polyphenol): the most beneficial antioxidant; 25 to 100 times more potent than

Vitamin C & E; catechins and polyphenols are effective scavengers of reactive oxygen species

EGCG: the most powerful catechin subclass; responsible for green tea’s long list of health benefits

L-Theanine: a natural relaxant almost exclusively found in green tea leaves; stimulates the production of alpha waves in the brain, associated with relaxation and mental alertness, without drowsiness

How to use Yu Tea green tea:

Use ½ tsp (up to 2 tsp) per day, in hot or cold water, in a mug, glass, or water bottle. The tea will go into suspension but will not dissolve; it is very fine and silky. Works great with a whisk or a frother. Stir or shake, if it settles. Avoid boiling water to fully enjoy the delicate flavors; see ideal temperature on tea. Also delicious in smoothies, sprinkled on food, and in homemade salad dressings.
